Balanops australiana, known as pimplebark, is a species in the family Balanopaceae. It is native to the coastal regions of northern and central Queensland, Australia.

Description

Balanops australiana, or pimplebark, is a plant species belonging to the genus Balanops in the family Balanopaceae. It is endemic to the coastal areas of northern and central Queensland. The species was first described in 1877 by F.Muell.
