Description

Pilosocereus magnificus, described in 1979 by F.Ritter, is a member of the Cactaceae family. It is endemic to Brazil and is restricted to the state of Minas Gerais. The plant grows in subtropical or tropical dry forest ecosystems, dry shrublands, and rocky environments. Its survival is at risk due to the degradation and loss of its natural habitats.
