Picris cyanocarpa is a species in the genus Picris, belonging to the family Asteraceae. It was first described in 1849 by the author Boiss. The species is native to several regions in the Middle East, including Jordan, Sinai, Qatar, Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine.

The species is found in a range of arid and semi-arid regions across the Middle East. Its distribution includes Jordan, the Sinai Peninsula, Qatar, Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine. As part of the genus Picris, it is related to other species commonly known as hawksbeards.
