Phyllostachys glauca is a species in the grass family Poaceae, native to several Chinese provinces including Anhui, Henan, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanxi, Yunnan, and Zhejiang, as well as the East Himalaya region. It was first described in 1956 by McClure.

Description

Phyllostachys glauca is a member of the bamboo genus Phyllostachys within the grass family Poaceae. Its natural distribution spans North-Central, South-Central, and Southeast China, as well as the East Himalaya. The species was formally published in 1956 by McClure. It is found in a range of Chinese provinces, including Anhui, Henan, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanxi, Yunnan, and Zhejiang.
