Phyllostachys arcana is a bamboo species in the family Poaceae, native to several provinces in China, including Anhui, Gansu, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Zhejiang. It grows at elevations between 700 and 1800 meters.

Description

Phyllostachys arcana, described by McClure in 1945, is a member of the grass family Poaceae. It is found in North-Central, South-Central, and Southeast China, specifically in the provinces of Anhui, Gansu, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Zhejiang. This bamboo species thrives at elevations ranging from 700 to 1800 meters above sea level.
