Description

Petrophile shirleyae is a shrub with pinnate, needle-shaped, sharply-pointed leaves and narrow oval heads of silky-hairy white to pale cream-coloured flowers. It is found only in Queensland and is part of the Proteaceae family. The species was first published in 1891 by F.M. Bailey.
