Petrophile seminuda is a flowering shrub in the Proteaceae family, native to southwestern Western Australia. It was first described in 1839 by Lindl. The plant is characterized by its needle-shaped, sharply-pointed leaves, often divided into two or three lobes, and produces yellow flower heads.

Description

Petrophile seminuda is a shrub species found exclusively in the region of southwestern Western Australia. It belongs to the Proteaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly found in the Southern Hemisphere. The plant features needle-shaped leaves that are sharply pointed and typically divided into two or three lobes. Its flowers are arranged in dense heads and are yellow in color. The species was formally described in 1839 by the botanist Lindl.
