Description

Petrophile prostrata is a flowering plant species in the Proteaceae family, endemic to the southwestern region of Western Australia. This shrub grows in a prostrate form, with leaves that are needle-shaped but typically not sharply pointed. Its flowers are pale yellow or cream in color, forming spherical heads covered in hair. The species was formally described by Rye & Hislop in 2005.
