Petrophile merrallii, described by Foreman in 1995, is a shrub native to Western Australia. It belongs to the Proteaceae family and is characterized by its spreading, needle-shaped foliage and inflorescences of yellow, hairy flowers arranged in oval or spherical clusters. The species is endemic to the southwestern region of its range.
