Petrophile heterophylla, known as the variable-leaved conebush, is a shrub native to southwestern Western Australia. It belongs to the Proteaceae family and was first described in 1839 by Lindl. The plant is characterized by its variably shaped, sometimes pinnately-divided leaves and clusters of silky-hairy, yellow to cream-coloured flowers.

Description

Petrophile heterophylla is a flowering shrub in the Proteaceae family, found only in southwestern Western Australia. It features leaves that vary in shape, which may be pinnately divided. The plant produces oval clusters of silky-hairy flowers, ranging in color from yellow to cream. It was first described by Lindl. in 1839.
