Petrophile aculeata is a flowering plant species in the Proteaceae family, native to the south-west of Western Australia. It is a small shrub with narrow, egg-shaped leaves and spherical clusters of hairy yellow flowers.

Description

Petrophile aculeata, described by Foreman in 1995, is a member of the Proteaceae family and is found exclusively in the south-western region of Western Australia. This shrub has narrow, egg-shaped leaves that taper at the base and feature irregular teeth near the tip. Its flowers are yellow, hairy, and arranged in more or less spherical heads.
