Petasites fominii

Petasites fominii is a member of the daisy family, Asteraceae, and is part of the genus Petasites, which includes species commonly known as butterburs. This species was scientifically described in 1915 by the botanist Bordz. It is geographically restricted to the Transcaucasus, a region situated between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, encompassing parts of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. The species is part of the diverse flora of this ecologically significant area.
