Persoonia subvelutina, known as velvety geebung, is a member of the Proteaceae family and is native to south-eastern Australia. It is a shrub or small tree with hairy young branchlets and yellow flowers that grow singly in leaf axils on short pedicels.

Persoonia subvelutina is a spreading shrub or small tree in the Proteaceae family. It has elliptic, lance-shaped, egg-shaped, or spatula-shaped leaves and yellow flowers that appear singly in leaf axils on pedicels 1–4 mm long. The plant is endemic to south-eastern Australia and was first described in 1957 by L.A.S. Johnson.
