Persoonia stricta is a flowering plant in the Proteaceae family, native to the south-west of Western Australia. It is an upright, spreading shrub with smooth bark, linear to spatula-shaped or oblong leaves, and bright yellow flowers that appear in groups of four to twenty-five on a rachis 3–100 mm long, with each flower having a leaf or scale leaf at its base.
Description
Persoonia stricta, described by C.A.Gardner ex P.H.Weston in 1994, is a member of the Proteaceae family. This shrub is characterized by its smooth bark and narrow, spatula-shaped, or oblong leaves. The plant produces clusters of bright yellow flowers, with each cluster containing four to twenty-five flowers arranged on a rachis ranging from 3 to 100 mm in length. Each flower is subtended by a leaf or scale leaf. The species is endemic to the south-western region of Western Australia.
