Persoonia saundersiana is a flowering shrub in the Proteaceae family, native to the south-west of Western Australia. It is characterized by hairy young branchlets, linear leaves, and clusters of bright yellow flowers on a rachis that continues to grow post-flowering.

Description

Persoonia saundersiana, described by Kippist ex Meisn. in 1855, is an erect, spreading shrub found only in Western Australia. It features linear leaves and produces clusters of up to twenty-five bright yellow flowers on a rachis up to 100 mm in length. The rachis continues to elongate after flowering. This species is part of the Proteaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly found in the Southern Hemisphere.
