Persoonia rufa is a shrub in the Proteaceae family, native to a limited region in New South Wales. It was described by L.A.S. Johnson and P.H. Weston in 1991.

Description

Persoonia rufa is an erect to spreading shrub with hairy young branchlets and elliptic leaves. It produces yellow flowers arranged in groups of up to twelve on a rachis that can reach 110 mm in length. Each flower is subtended by a leaf. The species is found only in New South Wales and is part of the Proteaceae family.
