Persoonia muelleri, known as Mueller’s geebung, is a shrub native to Tasmania. It grows in open areas of wet forests in the west and northeast of the state. It is distinguished from P. gunnii by its larger flowers and longer, straighter leaves.

Description

Persoonia muelleri (P.Parm.) Orchard is a member of the Proteaceae family and is found exclusively in Tasmania. This shrub inhabits open areas within wet forests, particularly in the western and northeastern regions of the state. It is sometimes mistaken for P. gunnii, but can be differentiated by its larger flowers and longer, straighter leaves. The species was first described in 1984.
