Persoonia chamaepitys, known as the prostrate- or mountain geebung, is a low-growing shrub native to New South Wales, eastern Australia. It typically reaches a height of 20 cm and spreads up to 2 m, with spine-like bright green leaves and small yellow flowers that bloom in summer and autumn.

Description

Persoonia chamaepitys is a member of the Proteaceae family and is found exclusively in New South Wales. The plant has a prostrate growth habit and is characterized by its small yellow flowers that appear during the summer and autumn months. The species was first described in 1825 by A.Cunn.
