Pauridia ovata

Pauridia ovata (L.f.) Snijman & Kocyan is a member of the Hypoxidaceae family, a group of flowering plants. It is found in the Cape Provinces of South Africa. This species is part of the genus Pauridia, which includes several geophytic plants. The scientific name was published in 2013, following taxonomic revisions. Its distribution is limited to the Cape region, where it grows in its natural habitat.
