Paronychia arabica is a species in the Caryophyllaceae family, first described in 1813. It is native to a wide range of regions across North Africa, the Middle East, and parts of southern Europe and the Iberian Peninsula.

Description

Paronychia arabica is a member of the Caryophyllaceae, commonly known as the carnation or carnation family. It is distributed across several countries including France, Algeria, the Canary Islands, Chad, Egypt, the Gulf States, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon-Syria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sinai, Spain, Tunisia, and Turkey. The species was first published in 1813. It is part of the genus Paronychia, which includes various species adapted to arid and semi-arid environments.
