Description

Parodia tenuicylindrica (F.Ritter) D.R.Hunt is a cactus species described in 1997. It belongs to the genus Parodia and is part of the Cactaceae family. This species is found growing individually in the southern region of Brazil. The cactus has small, green cylindrical stems covered with yellow and red-brown spines, white wool, and produces yellow flowers. Its fruit is yellow-green, and the seeds are black.
