Parodia carambeiensis is a species in the genus Parodia, belonging to the Cactaceae family. It was first described in 1998 by Hofacker, based on earlier work by Buining & Brederoo. This species is native to the southern regions of Brazil.

It was formally published in 1998 under the authorship of Hofacker, who reclassified it from earlier work by Buining & Brederoo.
