Parablechnum camfieldii, previously known as Blechnum camfieldii, is a fern species in the family Blechnaceae. It is commonly referred to as the eared swamp fern and is native to eastern Australia. This species is typically found in saline areas or low-lying coastal sites. Its new growth often exhibits a pink coloration. The species is named after Julius Henry Camfield, a gardener at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney.

Description

Parablechnum camfieldii is a member of the fern family Blechnaceae. It is distributed in eastern Australia and is adapted to saline or coastal environments. The plant is characterized by its pink-colored new growth. The species was named in honor of Julius Henry Camfield, a former gardener at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney. It was formally described in 2016 under the new combination by Gasper and Salino, moving from the genus Blechnum to Parablechnum.
