Calochortus panamintensis is a species of flowering plant in the Liliaceae family, native to Inyo and Kern Counties in California and adjacent Nye County in Nevada. It is commonly known as the Panamint Mountain mariposa lily and was named after the Panamint Range near Death Valley.

This species was first described in 1977 under the authorship (Ownbey) Reveal. It belongs to the genus Calochortus and is part of the lily family. The plant is found exclusively in parts of California and Nevada, where it grows in its native habitat.
