Chloropyron palmatum is an endangered annual herb in the Orobanchaceae family, native to California. It is characterized by its low, highly branched growth and flowers enclosed by a single palmate bract. It is commonly known as palmate salty bird's-beak.

Chloropyron palmatum is a salt-tolerant, flowering annual herb in the Orobanchaceae family. Native to California, it is considered endangered. The plant is distinguished by its low, highly branched structure and its flowers, which are enclosed by a single bract that is uniquely palmate in shape. It is known by the common names palmate salty bird's-beak and palmate-bract bird's-beak. The species was formally described in 2009 by Tank and J.M. Egger, based on earlier work by Ferris.
