Yucca filifera is a species of the genus Yucca in the family Asparagaceae. It is native to central Mexico and was first described in 1876 by Chabaud. It is commonly known as Palma China yucca.

Description

Yucca filifera belongs to the subfamily Agavaceae within the Asparagaceae family. It is indigenous to central Mexico and is part of the broader Yucca genus. The species was formally published in 1876 by Chabaud. It is also referred to by the common name Palma China yucca.
