Ourisia fragrans is a flowering plant in the family Plantaginaceae, native to the Andes of southern Argentina and Chile. It was described by Rodolfo Amando Philippi in 1864. This species is distinguished by glandular hairs on all vegetative parts, a nearly regular corolla in white, pink, or purple, and five fertile stamens of equal length.

Description

Ourisia fragrans is a member of the Plantaginaceae family and is found in mountainous regions of southern Argentina and Chile. It was first described in 1864 by Rodolfo Amando Philippi. The plant is characterized by the presence of glandular hairs on all vegetative parts. Its corolla is nearly regular in shape and can be white, pink, or purple in color. Another distinguishing feature is the presence of five fertile stamens of equal length. These traits help differentiate O. fragrans from other species within the genus Ourisia.
