Ourisia caespitosa, known as creeping mountain foxglove, is a flowering plant in the Plantaginaceae family. Endemic to New Zealand, it was described by Joseph Dalton Hooker in 1853. This species is a perennial herb with glabrous, trilobed or irregularly notched leaves arranged along a creeping stem. It is classified as Not Threatened.

Description

Ourisia caespitosa is a perennial herb native to the North and South Islands of New Zealand. It belongs to the genus Ourisia within the Plantaginaceae family. The plant is characterized by its hairless, tightly packed leaves that are trilobed or irregularly notched, growing along a creeping stem. The species was first described by Joseph Dalton Hooker in 1853. It is considered Not Threatened in terms of conservation status.
