Osmoxylon masarangense is a species in the genus Osmoxylon of the family Araliaceae. It was described by Philipson in 1976 and is native to Sulawesi.

Description

Osmoxylon masarangense belongs to the Araliaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the ginseng family. The species was formally published in 1976 by the botanist Philipson. It is geographically restricted to the island of Sulawesi, where it is part of the local flora. The genus Osmoxylon includes several species of trees and shrubs found primarily in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia. As with other members of the genus, Osmoxylon masarangense likely shares morphological characteristics such as compound leaves and umbellate inflorescences typical of the family.
