Encephalartos friderici-guilielmi is a cycad species in the family Zamiaceae, native to the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal provinces of South Africa. It grows at elevations between 700 and 1400 meters. The species is also known by the common name White-haired Cycad and was first described in 1834 by Lehm.

Encephalartos friderici-guilielmi is a member of the Zamiaceae family and is found in the Cape Provinces and KwaZulu-Natal regions of South Africa. It is commonly referred to as Old Man of the Mountains or White-haired Cycad. The species was formally described in 1834. Its natural habitat ranges from 700 to 1400 meters above sea level.
