Leucadendron microcephalum, known as Oilbract Conebush, is a dioecious shrub in the Proteaceae family. It is endemic to the Western Cape in South Africa and grows from sea level to 1,200 m. This species is one of around 200 in the genus Leucadendron, all native to South Africa.

Description

Leucadendron microcephalum is a single-stemmed shrub found in the Cape Provinces of South Africa. It belongs to the Proteaceae family and is one of approximately 200 species in the genus Leucadendron. The plant is dioecious and grows in a range from sea level up to an elevation of 1,200 m. The species was first described in 1913 by Gand. & Schinz.
