Arctostaphylos ohloneana, commonly known as Ohlone manzanita, is a species in the Ericaceae family, endemic to northwest Santa Cruz County, California. It is known from four populations on Ben Lomond Mountain, near Big Basin Redwoods State Park. The species was described in 2009 by M.C. Vasey and V.T. Parker.

Description

Arctostaphylos ohloneana is a rare manzanita species found only in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It is named after the Ohlone people, who historically inhabited the California coast between San Francisco and Santa Cruz. The plant is restricted to a limited area in Santa Cruz County, with known occurrences on Ben Lomond Mountain, south of Big Basin Redwoods State Park. This species is part of the Ericaceae family and is one of several manzanitas in the genus Arctostaphylos.
