Helianthus silphioides, known as Odorous Sunflower, is a species in the Asteraceae family native to the central United States. It is found in the Ozarks, Tennessee Valley, and surrounding regions, including parts of Kentucky, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. The species was first described in 1841.
