Odontites luteus (L.) Clairv. is a species in the Orobanchaceae family, commonly known as the broomrape family. It is distributed across various regions in Europe and parts of Asia, including Belgium, the Flemish Region, Denmark, Sweden, Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Central European Russia, Corsica, Czechoslovakia, East European Russia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Crimea, and the Lebanon-Syria region.

Description

This species was first described in 1811. It belongs to the genus Odontites, which is part of the Orobanchaceae family, a group of parasitic flowering plants. Odontites luteus is found in a range of European countries as well as parts of the Middle East and Central Asia, indicating a broad distribution across temperate and semi-arid regions.
