Ocimum tubiforme (R.D.Good) A.J.Paton belongs to the genus Ocimum within the Lamiaceae family, commonly known as the mint family. This species is found in the Northern Provinces. It was first described by R.D.Good and later reclassified by A.J.Paton in 1999.
