Nymphaea × daubenyana is a waterlily species from the Nymphaeaceae family, native to Chad and introduced to Florida and Sri Lanka. It is a natural hybrid between Nymphaea micrantha and Nymphaea nouchali var. caerulea. The species was first described in 1864 by W.T. Baxter ex Daubeny.

Description

Nymphaea × daubenyana is a hybrid waterlily species that occurs naturally in Chad. It has also been introduced to other regions, including the United States (specifically Florida) and Sri Lanka. The species results from the natural hybridization of Nymphaea micrantha and Nymphaea nouchali var. caerulea. It belongs to the Nymphaeaceae family and was first described in 1864 by W.T. Baxter ex Daubeny.
