Nymphaea candida is a perennial, aquatic, rhizomatous herb in the Nymphaeaceae family, native to regions from Europe to Siberia and the Western Himalaya.

Description

Nymphaea candida, described by J. Presl and C. Presl in 1822, is a member of the Nymphaeaceae family. It is found in the Oriental (Indomalaya) and Palaearctic regions, including areas such as the HR, SE, NO, Belgium, the Flemish Region, Altay, Austria, the Baltic States, Belarus, Central European Rus, Czechoslovakia, East European Russia, Finland, France, Germany, Irkutsk, Kazakhstan, and Krasnoyarsk. This species is an aquatic plant characterized by its rhizomatous growth form and is native to a wide geographic range extending from Europe to parts of Asia.
