Nuxia glomerulata is a shrub or tree in the Stilbaceae family, native to the Northern Provinces of South Africa. It is found in a limited area between Pretoria and Zeerust. The species is distinguished from Nuxia congesta by its elliptic, leathery, and glabrous leaves. It is at risk due to habitat loss.

Description

Nuxia glomerulata (C.A.Sm.) I.Verd. is a member of the Stilbaceae family and is endemic to the Northern Provinces of South Africa. It occurs in a restricted range between Pretoria and Zeerust. The plant is characterized by its elliptic, leathery, and glabrous leaves, setting it apart from Nuxia congesta. Habitat loss poses a significant threat to its survival. The species was first described in 1958.
