Nicotiana mutabilis, known as the colour-changing tobacco plant, is a species in the Solanaceae family. It is native to northeastern Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and has been introduced to Great Britain. This erect annual or biennial plant can grow up to 1.5 m (5 ft) in height. Its flowers undergo a color transformation, starting white, then turning pink, and finally dark pink. The plant is commercially available.
