Coryphantha nickelsiae, commonly known as Nickels' Cactus, is a species in the Cactaceae family. It was first described in 1923 by Britton & Rose, based on the original work of K.Brandegee. This cactus is native to the regions of Mexico Northeast and Texas.

Coryphantha nickelsiae is a member of the Cactaceae family, a group of plants well adapted to arid environments. The species is found in the geographic regions of Mexico Northeast and Texas. It was formally published in 1923 under the nomenclature of Britton & Rose, following initial observations by K.Brandegee. The species is known by the common name Nickels' Cactus in English and by the same name in other languages.
