Nepenthes lamii is a tropical pitcher plant native to New Guinea, distinguished by its high-altitude habitat, reaching up to 3,520 m above sea level, the highest among Nepenthes species. It was described by Jebb & Cheek in 1997 and belongs to the family Nepenthaceae.

Description

Nepenthes lamii is a member of the genus Nepenthes and is found in New Guinea. It was once mistaken for N. vieillardii and was previously considered the same species as N. monticola, but is now recognized as distinct. This species is notable for its occurrence at the highest elevation of any Nepenthes species. It was formally published in 1997.
