Nepenthes glandulifera Chi.C.Lee

Nepenthes glandulifera is a species of pitcher plant in the family Nepenthaceae, found in the Hose Mountains of central Sarawak. It is characterized by black speckles around the petioles, which are nectar glands, and a prominent indumentum. The species was discovered by Ch'ien Lee and is closely related to N. pilosa. It does not form natural hybrids with other species.
Description
Nepenthes glandulifera is a member of the genus Nepenthes and is native to Borneo in Southern Asia. The species was first described in 2004 by Chi.C.Lee. It is distinguished by the presence of black speckles on the petioles, which were initially mistaken for signs of disease but later identified as nectar glands. The plant also has a notable indumentum, a dense covering of hairs. It is closely related to N. pilosa but does not form natural hybrids with other species.
