Nepenthes glabrata is a tropical pitcher plant species native to Sulawesi, growing in high-elevation open forests between 1,600 and 2,100 meters. It was described in 1984 by J.R. Turnbull and A.T. Middleton.

Description

Nepenthes glabrata belongs to the genus Nepenthes in the family Nepenthaceae. This species is known for its small, colorful pitchers that are red speckled on a yellowish background, resembling a 'hand painted' appearance. The plant is endemic to the island of Sulawesi in Southern Asia.
