Nepenthes glabrata belongs to the genus Nepenthes in the family Nepenthaceae. This species is known for its small, colorful pitchers that are red speckled on a yellowish background, resembling a 'hand painted' appearance. The plant is endemic to the island of Sulawesi in Southern Asia.
