Nepenthes gantungensis is a tropical pitcher plant native to the Philippine island of Palawan, specifically found on a single peak at elevations between 1,600 and 1,784 meters above sea level. It belongs to the genus Nepenthes and the family Nepenthaceae. The species was formally described in 2010 by S. McPherson, Cervancia, Chi.C. Lee, Jaunzems, Mey, and A.S. Rob.

Description

Nepenthes gantungensis is a member of the Nepenthaceae family and is endemic to a single peak on the island of Palawan in the Philippines. It is found growing at high elevations, ranging from 1,600 to 1,784 meters above sea level. The species was first described in 2010 by a team of botanists including S. McPherson, Cervancia, Chi.C.
