Nepenthes eustachya

Nepenthes eustachya is a tropical pitcher plant species native to Sumatra, found at elevations from sea level up to 1,600 m. It belongs to the genus Nepenthes in the family Nepenthaceae. The species was first described in 1858 by Miq.

Nepenthes eustachya is a member of the Nepenthaceae family and is restricted to Sumatra. Its name is derived from the Greek words eu (true) and stachys (spike), describing the racemose arrangement of its inflorescence. The species is known for its carnivorous pitcher-shaped leaves adapted to trap and digest insects.
