Nemesia floribunda, known as Cape Jewels or Fleshy Nemesia, is a flowering plant in the family Scrophulariaceae. It is an erect annual dicotyledon herb native to South Africa, including the Cape Provinces, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, and Lesotho. It has also naturalized in other regions and is cultivated in home gardens.

Description

Nemesia floribunda, described by Lehm. in 1833, is an annual herb in the family Scrophulariaceae. It is native to the Cape Provinces, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, and Lesotho in South Africa. The plant is commonly called Cape Jewels or Fleshy Nemesia. While native to South Africa, it has become naturalized in other areas and is often grown in gardens by home gardeners.
