Nematanthus wiehleri

Nematanthus wiehleri belongs to the genus Nematanthus within the Gesneriaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions. This species is endemic to the Southeast region of Brazil. It was formally described and published in 2005 by botanists Chautems and M.Peixoto. The species is part of the biodiversity of the Brazilian flora, contributing to the ecological and taxonomic richness of the region.
