Alchornea ilicifolia, known as native holly, is a shrub native to eastern Australia, found in drier rainforests and their edges in coastal regions of New South Wales and Queensland. It is also reported from Trinidad-Tobago and was first described in 1865.

Description

Alchornea ilicifolia (J.Sm.) Müll.Arg. is a member of the Euphorbiaceae family and is commonly called native holly. It is a shrub species native to eastern Australia, particularly in the drier rainforest margins of New South Wales and Queensland. The plant is also found in Trinidad-Tobago. The species was first published in 1865.
