Greyia radlkoferi is a shrub or small tree native to South Africa, growing up to 5 metres tall. It has smooth yellowish bark that turns grey and deeply furrowed with age. The species is distinguished by its oval or heart-shaped leaves, which are woolly on the undersurface. Scarlet flowers appear in dense, upright clusters from July to October.

Description

Greyia radlkoferi, known as Natal bottlebrush, is a member of the Francoaceae family and is found in regions such as KwaZulu-Natal, Northern Provinces, and Swaziland. It was first described in 1888 by Szyszył. The plant is characterized by its upright growth and dense flowering clusters. It differs from Greyia sutherlandii by the woolly texture of its leaf undersides.
