Narrowleaf zinnia
Zinnia angustifolia Kunth
Zinnia angustifolia, known as narrowleaf zinnia, is a herbaceous flowering plant native to northern and western Mexico. It has been naturalized in parts of the Southwestern United States and is cultivated for its ornamental value. Hybrids between Z. angustifolia and other Zinnia species are commonly grown in gardens.
Description
Zinnia angustifolia belongs to the Asteraceae family and is characterized by its narrow leaves and showy flowers.
